You pay the auction company
Your payment settles the auction company's invoice. The auction's terms set accepted payment methods and deadlines. Review the invoice's current payment status before paying, including any auto-pay or escrow payment already in progress.
Methods and deadlines
Some auctions take payment online; others arrange payment at the office or by another method the auction company accepts. Follow the method and deadline on your invoice — paying on time keeps your account in good standing and your pickup on schedule.
- Check the auction's terms for accepted methods and deadlines before you bid.
- Your invoice shows what's been paid and any balance still due.
Auto-pay with your saved card
During registration, you can opt in to automatically charge your verified default saved card when the auction office posts an invoice for that auction. Review the selected card and consent before confirming registration; auto-pay is optional and applies to that auction.
To stop future automatic charges, open Registrations and choose Turn off auto-pay for the auction before a charge has been reserved. Turning it off does not cancel a payment already in progress. Check the invoice for payment results and any remaining balance.
Escrow applied to an invoice
Eligible escrow may be applied automatically or after staff approval under the auction's policy and the capture terms you accepted. A card hold alone is not a paid invoice. Check the invoice to see what has been applied and whether a balance remains.
A balance due or a payment question
When a posted invoice offers online payment, review the remaining balance and saved card, then confirm the payment. Drafts, invoices under review, and payments already in progress do not offer another payment. If Continue payment appears, use it to check the existing payment and complete any bank verification.
For an unrecognized charge or a payment that hasn't posted, choose Contact auction office on the invoice. If online payment is unavailable, follow the company's payment instructions.
