After-sale support

Message the auction office

Item, pickup, shipping, and title questions go to the auction company. Here's the difference between that and marketplace support.

Two support paths

Help splits two ways. Questions about a specific auction or item — condition, pickup, shipping, title, taxes, or an invoice charge — go to the auction company running the auction. Trouble with your account, signing in, or a page that won't load goes to marketplace support.

Before you have a purchase or invoice

Open the auction company's page from the auction and use its contact details for item, approval, shipping, or other auction questions. Include the auction name and lot number, especially for an urgent auction-day question.

Start a message from a purchase or invoice

Choose Contact auction office on your purchase or invoice, enter a subject and message, and send it to the company's staff. A purchase message includes that lot; an invoice message includes the invoice, so name the lot number if your question concerns one item.

Read replies and continue the conversation

Open Messages in your account, choose the conversation, and reply there. Existing purchase conversations also have an Open conversation link. Check Messages for replies even if support-message alerts are turned off.

When to use marketplace support

Use marketplace support for account access, registration trouble across auctions, watchlist or bid-page problems, and invoice-page access. The contact page routes you to the right place for each.
