What the marketplace sends

The marketplace sends messages tied to your activity — things like watchlist reminders, saved-search matches, outbid notices, and updates when an invoice is posted. These help you stay on top of auctions you're involved in.

Manage your preferences

In Notification preferences, choose the available email, text, or browser channels for each optional notice. Auction-starting-soon alerts, outbid alerts, watchlist reminders, saved-search alerts, invoice-ready notices, automatic payment results, support messages, dispute updates, and pickup notices can be turned off. Browser alerts also need permission and a subscription in that browser.

Registration decisions, account recovery, and email verification are required notices and stay on. Staff invitations and seller application decisions also stay on when they apply to you. Marketing unsubscribe choices are separate from these auction notification settings.

Messages from auction companies

The auction company running an auction may contact you separately about registration, your invoice, pickup, shipping, or future auctions. For choices about a specific company's messages, contact that company.
